Kurrajong Village

Perfect for those who are interested in art and history, Kurrajong Village is a must do while you’re in the Mountains, there’s plenty of colonial architecture, some great galleries and the radio museum will keep the short-wave and technology boffins happy.

The region’s creeks and rivers make this area ideal for food production. After colonial settlement Kurrajong and its surrounds soon became known for its orchards. If you’re all about local produce and supporting the farmers make sure you check out the farm gate stalls.

The views from Kurrajong’s cafés and restaurants are hard to beat, many have spectacular views of Sydney City and the Harbour Bridge. If you’d prefer to spend some quality time with the family in the great outdoors, pack a picnic and head down to Memorial Park. It’s perfect for budget-conscious day trippers and there’s plenty of room to relax and watch the kids let off some steam in the playground.
